Evergreen sends a statement for each closed month. These tabs on Workspace settings › Billing show the numbers behind it: Overview, Usage, Activity, Payments, and Statements.

The monthly statement

On the first of each month, Evergreen emails a statement for the month that just closed, with the PDF attached. The first statement is for October 2026 and arrives on November 1, 2026. Anything earlier is rolled into October’s opening balance.

The PDF is one page, in US dollars, with:

  • Opening balance
  • Added
  • Used, split into Platform fee, Agent time, Inference, and Workspace storage, plus anything waived in your free week
  • Adjustments and refunds
  • Closing balance
  • Sales tax charged, when there was some

Below that, a usage table shows tokens in and out, cache reads and writes, agent hours, storage in GB-months, and the number of turns.

Note

The statement PDF comes by email, and the Billing page has no download button for it. Keep the email if you need the PDF later.

The Statements tab

Statements lists one row for each closed month, newest first, with Opening, Added, Used, Adjustments, Closing and, if any month had tax, Tax. Until the first month closes, it says when your first statement arrives.

On Overview, a receipt card tracks the month so far: Funds added and Spent so far, with the date the month closes.

Activity and Payments

Activity lists every change to your balance, newest first. Switch between By session, which groups it by session, and Every entry. Filter by kind narrows it to a top-up, platform fee, agent time, inference, workspace storage, an adjustment, a refund, a dispute, or a credit. The columns are When, Kind, Detail, Amount, and Balance after.

Payments lists every card charge. See Add funds.

Who gets billing emails

Statements and billing emails go to the Billing contact’s email, the Owner, and anyone with the Billing delegation. Each person gets one copy. An Admin who doesn’t have the Billing delegation can open the Billing page but doesn’t get these emails. To change that, give them the delegation.

The billing emails

These are the billing emails:

Email When you get it
Monthly statement On the first of each month, for the month that closed, with the PDF attached.
Payment receipt When a top-up lands on your balance.
Payment failed When your card refuses a top-up you made by hand.
Refund issued When a refund of a top-up goes back to your card.
Payment disputed When a cardholder disputes a top-up and the bank takes the money back.
Automatic top-up failed Each time your card refuses an automatic top-up. It says if auto-reload is now paused.
Top-up needs authentication When your bank asks you to confirm an automatic top-up.
Automatic top-up cap reached Once a month, when a top-up would pass the monthly cap and is skipped.
Card expiring In the month before the card on file expires, once for each card.
Card removed When the card on file is removed at Stripe, which also pauses auto-reload.
Low balance When the balance falls to a level set by your daily spend, from $10 to $100. It comes again only once funds are added and three days pass, and not while auto-reload covers it.
Balance exhausted Once each time the balance runs out and Evergreen stops your sessions. It says how many it stopped.
Funds restored Once for each time the balance ran out, when funds lift it above zero again. It lists the stopped sessions and the automation events that are waiting.
Team waiting for funds At most once a day, when a member who isn’t a billing recipient is refused a start for want of funds. It names that person.
Automations waiting for funds Once each time the balance runs out, when the first automation event waits for funds.
Billing hold placed, Billing hold lifted When Evergreen puts a hold on your account, and when it lifts it.
Free week started, ending soon, ended When your workspace’s free week begins, two days before it ends, and once it has ended.

A workspace on a trial also gets an email before the trial ends and another when it has ended.

The emails about budgets go to the people a budget covers and to Admins, not to the billing recipients.
