Plugins
Choose which plugins from your workspace's marketplaces people can install, which are on for everyone, and which are required or hidden.
Plugins add skills, commands, and tools to the agent. Each person installs the ones they want from Browse plugins, and nothing loads into a session until it’s installed. Workspace settings › Plugins is where you set the rules for everyone.
Set a rule for a plugin
The page lists every plugin in your workspace’s shared marketplaces, with a search box and a filter for each marketplace. Pick one of these rules for each plugin:
| Rule | What happens |
|---|---|
| Available to install | The plugin appears on Browse plugins, and people install or remove it as they like. This is the default. |
| Installed by default | It’s installed for everyone. People can still switch it off or remove it. |
| Not available | It’s hidden from Browse plugins. Nobody can install it, and no session carries it. |
| Required | It’s installed for everyone and always on. People can’t switch it off or remove it. |
Changes show up the next time someone opens Settings or starts a session. Setting a plugin back to Available to install leaves existing installs alone.
Note
Installed by default and Required work only for plugins that come from a git-backed source that isn’t blocked.
Marketplaces
A marketplace is a repository that lists plugins. People can add one for themselves from Settings › Plugins with Add from a repository, choosing the repository, the Branch, and the Folder. A marketplace added that way shows only on their own Browse plugins, and they can remove it any time.
Admins can add a marketplace for Everyone. It shows for everyone in the workspace, and only an Admin can remove it. The rules above apply to plugins in these shared marketplaces. Marketplaces people add for themselves aren’t managed here.
